Planning to Get Tattoo Brows? What to Do for the Best Result!

Have you never had eyebrow tattoos before? You are a bit nervous but excited. Right? Naturally, you don’t know what to do before and after the appointment!

Well, tattoo brows are not permanent. In this technique, natural pigments are used to create fuller brows that seem hair-like strokes. But they last quite a while. And to make them last longer and ensure you prepare your skin for tattoo brows, doing the following things is recommended.

What to Do Before Getting Tatto Brows

Your Skin Around Your Brows Should be in ‘Tip-Top’ Condition

For a month before your appointment, it’s best to do regular gentle brow scrubs 2-3 weekly. Make sure you use quality moisturizer for the entire brow. Rub it behind the hair to allow it to penetrate your skin. If you have dry skin, use oil.

Don’t fix an appointment when you have spots in your brows. You should not have sun damage and eczema. Otherwise, the areas may get infected, and we can’t implant the pigments correctly. The result will end up with gaps.

Avoid Sun Exposure

It’s best not to expose your face to prolonged sunlight at least four weeks before the appointment. If the surface of the skin is altered by UVA and UVB rays, it can be problematic to implant the pigment. You will not get good healed results. Remember, it’s your responsibility to prepare your skin for the best possible finish!

Don’t Go for Self-Tan

Don’t apply self-tan before getting tattoo brows. Otherwise, the color of the pigment may not match your skin tone. It can lead to an unsatisfactory color. Chemicals can alter the composition of the skin, preventing flawless pigment implantation.

Never Tint Your Eyebrows

Let the tint color of your eyebrows wear off. If you want to get natural tattoo brows, the experts need to work with natural-colored hair. Make sure you get your brows dyed seven days before your appointment if you dye them constantly and are happy to do so.

Wash Your Hair

Wash your hair before the night or the morning of the treatment. It’s crucial to keep your brows dry for at least 72 hours after the treatment.
